Bakery Manager

Pak'nSave Thames is looking for an experienced and passionate Bakery Manager to lead our busy bakery department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader who is committed to food safety, exceptional customer service, and developing a high-performing team.

As Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department, ensuring our customers receive fresh, high-quality products while maintaining outstanding standards in food safety, presentation, productivity, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and developing the bakery team to achieve departmental goals.
• Managing production planning to ensure products are available, fresh, and of the highest quality.
• Maintaining Food Safety and Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Monitoring wastage, stock control, and departmental profitability.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
• Delivering an exceptional shopping experience through outstanding merchandising and presentation standards.
• Training, coaching, and supporting team members to reach their full potential.
• Managing rosters and labour costs effectively.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a bakery leadership role or similar food production environment.
• Strong understanding of bakery operations, food safety, and quality systems.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
