Bread Baker | Part Time
Love baking bread? So do we.
There is something satisfying about turning a few simple ingredients into great bread. At New World Churton Park, we bake a wide range of our bread from scratch, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for it.
Someone who enjoys working with dough, cares about flavour and texture, and takes pride in seeing customers come back for bread they have made.
Your regular roster
- Wednesday: 4am to 12.30pm
- Thursday: 4am to 12.30pm
- Friday: 4am to 12.30pm
- Sunday: 4am to 12.30pm
Monday, Tuesday and Saturday off.
About the role
You will prepare, prove and bake a range of breads, helping us deliver consistent quality and a fresh, inviting bakery each day. We would welcome someone who brings ideas, enjoys improving their baking and wants to help us develop our range.
You will also help plan production, minimise waste and maintain a clean, organised and safe bakery.
About you
You have practical bread baking experience and a real enthusiasm for the craft. You understand what makes a good loaf and care about getting the details right.
You are reliable, work well with others and can confidently manage your baking tasks. A qualification would be welcome, but practical experience and pride in your work matter most.
What we offer
- Competitive pay based on your skills and experience
- A regular four day roster
- A modern bakery and a supportive team
- The opportunity to contribute ideas and develop your skills
- A locally owned supermarket serving a community that values good food
