Evening Checkout Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced evening Checkout Supervisor to join us here at New World Orewa.

The days and hours are:

• Friday = 12.30pm - 9pm 
• Saturday = 12.30pm - 9pm

Start times are negotiable for more/less hours based on your preference however finishes will be 9pm. More hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday can be added if you are after more hours.

What your day looks like:

• Operating checkouts 
• Packing groceries into bags or trollies
• Self Checkout Management
• Lotto till operation
• Different admin roles such as refunds, Rug doctor hireage and other services
• Keeping on top of customer flow and customer service
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints
• Training team members
• Supervising / leading the team

What we need from you:

The Checkout team is often the lasting impression our customers get when they shop at New World Orewa. We are looking for a team member to join with a warm and friendly personality, gets on with people from all walks of life and can make the day to day happen for our team and customers.

• MUST HAVE: Previous experience in a Checkout Key Holder or Supervisor position and experience in assisting to lead/manage a medium-large team.
• Lotto trained
• Self Checkout Experience
