About the role:

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store including:

• Leading the team and supervising daily store operations
• Delivering outstanding customer service
• Opening and closing store procedures
• Operating the checkout and assisting customers when required
• Filling, rotating and merchandising stock
• Maintaining high food safety, health & safety, and store presentation standards
• Ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act while on duty

What we're looking for:

• A current and valid Duty Manager's Certificate (essential)
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude with strong leadership skills
• Friendly with excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently and make confident decisions
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and handling moderate lifting as part of the role
• Previous supermarket or retail leadership experience is preferred

Hours:

• Part-time – 3 days per week
• Evening shifts: 1:30pm – 8:15pm
• Potential for additional shifts to cover leave and busy periods
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), with availability for both weekend days preferred
