Four Square - Store Assistant

Note *** This role is not suitable for high school students as it requires working during school hours.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day store operations and delivering friendly, efficient customer service. In our small team environment, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the store.

Key responsibilities include:

• Customer service and cash handling
• Stocking shelves and rotating stock
• Merchandising and maintaining displays
• Unpacking deliveries
• Maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards
• Assisting with liquor sales in line with licensing requirements
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods
  

About You

• Retail or supermarket experience preferred but not essential
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to lift stock
• Basic computer / POS skills
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
