Supermarket Assistant-Butchery/Store room

We have two permanent, full-time position available for the right applicants to join our growing store.

Butchery Assistant

 The primary responsibilities of the Butchery Assistant are to:

• Ensure all product displayed is correctly trayed, wrapped and labelled
• Present and merchandise to ensure that a maximum range and sufficient quantity of product is available at all times
• Assisting in ensuring all deliveries are unloaded in a timely manner, reducing wastage
• Assisting in ensuring all appropriate cleaning and stocktaking is completed
• Assisting with any customer enquiries.  

The successful candidate/s will;

• Be physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Have a customer-focused mindset, focusing on their needs and expectations 
• Set and maintain a high standard of customer service
• Have good command of written and spoken English
• Have good basic math skills

Store person

Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Available for early starts and full-time work
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Receiving, checking and unloading deliveries
• Operating a forklift safely
• Using SAP for stock transactions and inventory management
• Moving, organising and replenishing stock
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Keeping the storeroom and work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Assisting with general supermarket stockroom duties
