Supermarket Assistant Deli Part Time

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Supermarket Assistant to work in our Service Deli on Fridays and Sundays.

This is a varied, practical role where you will serve customers, help prepare and present food, and keep the department looking its best.

Your regular roster

• Friday: 2pm to 10pm
• Sunday: 9am to 5pm

You must be available for both shifts.

What you will be doing

• Serving customers and helping them choose from our deli range
• Preparing, packing and displaying food
• Keeping cabinets stocked and well presented
• Checking product quality, dates and temperatures
• Cleaning equipment and work areas, including the Friday evening close
• Following food safety and health and safety procedures

What we are looking for

You enjoy helping people, take pride in your work and are comfortable handling food. You will be reliable, willing to learn and able to keep things moving during busy periods.

Previous food retail, hospitality or customer service experience would be helpful, but training will be provided.
