Trolley/Checkout Assistant (Full Time, Fixed Term)

We are urgently looking for a Trolley/Checkout Assistant to join our team. We are looking for candidates who are reliable, customer focused, friendly, outgoing, physically fit, who enjoys helping people, can work under pressure in a fast paced environment, an excellent team player and who don’t mind working outdoor under hot, cold and wet weather conditions.
Tasks include ensuring colleting trolleys from the car park and ensuring adequate trolleys are available for customers; assisting customers to take their purchases to their cars as required and maintaining the trolley bays and surrounding car park and ensuring all rubbish is cleared away on a daily basis; working and helping at Checkout i.e. collecting baskets, packing customers groceries.
Supermarket work experience is an advantage. This is a fixed term employment to start to cover our permanent Trolley Assistant for one - three months. But after the fixed term employment, we are open to discuss other employment opportunities available at the store.
Current roster is: Sunday and Monday OFF; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:30AM - 7PM and Saturday 9:00AM – 7:00PM. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
