2 x Part Time grocery assistant

Te Puke New World is looking for two dedicated and energetic part-time Grocery Assistants to join our team! Each position offers 20 hours per week, with set days and hours, but there may be times when we need extra help—especially during our busy seasons and to cover for team members on leave. If you’re a hard worker with a flexible mindset and a passion for customer service, this could be the perfect fit!

• Quick thinking and a proactive attitude: Supermarket life is fast-paced! We need team members who can think on their feet and take initiative to keep everything running smoothly.
• A strong work ethic: From stocking shelves to assisting customers, you approach every task with attention to detail and a can-do spirit.
• Availability for extra shifts: While your schedule will be set, there may be times we’ll need a helping hand to cover busy periods or sick/annual leave.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping shelves well-stocked, organized, and fully replenished
• Providing friendly, helpful customer service
• Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in the grocery department
• Assisting with stock rotation, displays, and other tasks as needed
• Supporting the team by jumping in wherever necessary to keep our store running smoothly
