2024/2025 Summer Holiday Supermarket Assistants

Our stunning store in the heart of the magical Mangawhai community has been operating since October 2022.  With grocery, butchery, seafood, deli, bakery, produce, liquor, chilled and frozen, online and checkout departments in a beautiful new store, we are bringing a new era of shopping to our wonderful customers.

The grocery industry is fast paced and ever changing, and with a strong influx of people and customers during the holiday season will be recruiting fixed term and casual roles in various departments throughout the store.

Roles available will vary - register your interest and we will be in touch from mid to late October to discuss opportunities. 

Make sure you include your CV and a personal summary that tells us about you and what you are looking for in working for us - your availability and role preference (if you have one).

Roles:

• Work in one of our various departments while sometimes covering other departments
• Provide a high level of customer service and assisting customers where needed
• Ensure that stock is presented and put out accurately
• Fast and accurate stock fill/rotation
• Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results

What are we looking for:

• Supermarket / retail experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong work ethic, dedicated, reliable, honest and an excellent team player
• Confidence, initiative and maturity to work unassisted at times
• Self-starters and the ability work across multiple departments as needed
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Confidence & maturity to work unassisted
