A Good Happy Butcher & More-Auckland


We are looking for a team member who can effectively contribute to the Butchery Department by demonstrating the following capabilities:

 

  • Breaking, boning, slicing and cutting all carcasses and meat in preparation for sale.

     

     

 

 

  • Assisting in the daily operations and general needs of the Butchery Department.

     

     

 

 

  • Ensuring only quality product is presented for sale.

     

     

 

 

  • Assist with production planning and prioritizing of work to ensure we meet the demands of our Butchery Department.

     

     

 

 

  • Happy to help and advice customers with any queries they may have, ensuring excellent customer service standards are delivered at all times.

     

     

 

 

  • Understanding and complying with all compliance requirements with regards to Health & Safety and Food Safety.

     

     

 

 

  • Working effectively in a team, ensuring working areas are well organized and managed.

     

     

 

 

  • Happy to oversee our small Seafood department.

     

     

 

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

 

  • The ability and skills to work within a team environment as well as unsupervised.

     

     

 

 

  • Knowledge and passion about the butchery trade and the production of the finest quality meat products.

     

     

 

 

  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining excellent customer service.

     

     

 

 

  • Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic with a happy demeanour.

     

     

 

 

  • Maturity and the ability to problem solve while working at all times to best practice standards.

     

     

 

 

  • Willingness to contribute ideas and participate in the overall success of the Butchery Department.
