ASSISTANT SEAFOOD MANAGER (2IC)
We’re currently seeking an experienced Assistant Seafood Manager to join our team. As a department leader, you’ll play an integral role in helping us succeed and consistently deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community.
The Role:
- Support the Seafood Manager in achieving department targets and operational standards.
- Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards, are fresh, and attractively displayed for our customers.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure they can find everything in one easy shop.
- Continuously look for ways to improve seafood operations, productivity, and efficiency.
- Assist in driving commercial outcomes and supporting store growth.
What we’re looking for:
- A passion for seafood and a keen eye for quality and presentation
- Previous experience in the food or retail industry (preferred)
- SAP and stock ordering experience (advantageous, but training will be provided)
- Excellent people skills and leadership potential
- A commitment to following Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
- Proven customer service experience
- Have the right to work in New Zealand.
Days and Hours of Work:
Tuesday to Saturday, 5:00 am – 2:30 pm (45 hours per week)
