ASSISTANT SEAFOOD MANAGER (2IC)

We’re currently seeking an experienced Assistant Seafood Manager to join our team. As a department leader, you’ll play an integral role in helping us succeed and consistently deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community.

The Role:

  • Support the Seafood Manager in achieving department targets and operational standards.
  • Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards, are fresh, and attractively displayed for our customers.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure they can find everything in one easy shop.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve seafood operations, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Assist in driving commercial outcomes and supporting store growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • A passion for seafood and a keen eye for quality and presentation
  • Previous experience in the food or retail industry (preferred)
  • SAP and stock ordering experience (advantageous, but training will be provided)
  • Excellent people skills and leadership potential
  • A commitment to following Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Have the right to work in New Zealand.

Days and Hours of Work:

Tuesday to Saturday, 5:00 am – 2:30 pm (45 hours per week)
