Are you a talented baker with a passion for creating mouth-watering breads, pastries, and cakes? Do you love experimenting and bringing fresh, exciting ideas to life? We’re on the lookout for a Qualified Baker who thrives on innovation and wants to lead the way in new product development in our bakery.

We’re looking for an experienced all-rounder that is comfortable producing bread cakes and pastry in a high volume production environment. 
This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week with days and hours of work to be discussed at interview stage - working one weekend day will be essential.

You'll be assisting in the day-to day running of the Bakery Department, ensuring that a maximum range and quantity of high quality fresh baked products are available for sale throughout trading hours.

The work environment is busy and dynamic and will require you to think fast on your feet and have excellent organisational skills. We pride ourselves in our ability to seek continuous improvement and innovation throughout the department.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Master the craft of baking exceptional breads, pastries, and cakes
• Drive innovation by developing new recipes and products that push creative boundaries
• Collaborate closely with our team to refine and roll out exciting new bakery items
• Help evolve our bakery operations to support continuous product innovation

• Qualified Baker (Level 4) with solid hands-on experience in bread, pastry, and cake production
• A creative and entrepreneurial mindset focused on new product development
• A proactive team player eager to contribute ideas and see them through to success
• Outstanding baking skills and presentation of products within a high volume bakery
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload
• Excellent knowledge of Food, Health and Safety processes
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
• Punctuality, flexibility, honesty and reliability
• A strong focus on teamwork, communication and relationship building
