At our bakery, we believe in fostering a friendly and collaborative work environment. We are seeking an individual who excels in their craft and is also willing to assist in other baking areas as needed.

As part of our baking team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of enthusiastic individuals dedicated to creating delicious baked goods for our customers. You’ll be involved in our daily operations, have the chance to share your creative recipe ideas, and help us ensure that every product is made to perfection.

Key Attributes

• Collaborate effectively with a team using a cooperative approach
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking practices
• Baking skills, i.e. kneading, bread, fillings, glazing and pastry
• Ability to use Bakery machines, i.e. Ovens, mould dough and cut biscuits
• Imaginative and innovative
• Quality control
• Sound knowledge and passion for Bakery - Qualified preferred
• Great attitude towards Health and Food Safety and general hygiene

Position

We are hiring a full-time employee who must be available for at least one weekend shift. Priority will be given to applicants with an NZQF Level 4 qualification in Baking. However, candidates with at least two years of relevant experience may also be considered in place of the formal qualification. Remuneration will be discussed during the interview.
