Are you a passionate baker looking to showcase your skills in a dynamic and friendly environment? We are seeking a talented Baker who specialises in  Dough and ovens to join our growing team! At our bakery, we believe in fostering a friendly and collaborative work environment. We are seeking an individual who excels in their craft and is also willing to assist in other baking areas as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
• Work hands-on with dough, from mixing to shaping
• Operate ovens and other baking equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all products meet our high-quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Genuine love for working with dough and creating delicious baked goods
  
• Baking skills, i.e. kneading, bread, fillings, glazing and pastry
• Ability to use Bakery machines, i.e. Ovens, mould dough and cut biscuits
• Ability to work early mornings 
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Sound knowledge and passion for Bakery - Qualified preferred
• Great attitude towards Health and Food Safety, and general hygiene

Shifts & Availability

We are hiring a full-time employee who must be available on both weekend days. Shifts are: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1 am - 9 am (37.5 hours). Priority will be given to applicants with an NZQF Level 4 qualification in Baking. However, candidates with at least two years of relevant experience may also be considered in place of the formal qualification. Remuneration will be discussed during the interview.
