Baker


At Mill Street Pak’nSave we pride ourselves on delivering high quality products for our customers whilst providing a great shopping experience. We are looking for a Baker with experience that can complement an already highly productive bakery team.

In this role, you will be committed to making and baking quality products to meet our customer’s expectations. Reporting to the bakery manger you will be part of a high performing team helping to ensure the department runs smoothly.

Previous experience in a supermarket bakery would be an advantage but not essential.

Duties include:

  • Preparation and baking of quality bakery goods for retail sale
  • High level of customer service to our valued customers
  • Follow Health and Safety Policy, Food Safety Policy and Compliance Procedures in the store.
  • Complete the traceability forms as required

Key attributes required:

  • Trade qualification or proven experience as a baker
  • High standard of customer service 
  • Excellent communicator and a real team player as well as be able to work unsupervised
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Someone who can demonstrate a high standard of work and comply with our food standards and health and safety programme
