BAKERS – CAKES & DOUGH

New World Te Rapa | Full Time Positions

We are looking for bakers to join our busy Bakery team, with opportunities available across both cake baking and decorating and dough/bread baking.

About the roles

Cake Baker

• Baking, icing and decorating cakes for customer orders and display.
• Producing a range of bakery products including slices, muffins, cookies and other sweet treats.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Previous cake decorating/baking experience preferred.

Dough Baker

• Producing daily quantities of bread, rolls and other bread products.
• Following production schedules and maintaining consistent quality.
• Helping with other bakery production as required.
• Previous experience preferred, however training can be provided for the right person.

What we're looking for:

• Passionate about baking and producing quality products.
• Reliable, organised and able to work in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of food safety.
• Previous baking experience is preferred, but we are happy to consider the right person with a willingness to learn.

Applicants must hold a New Zealand citizenship, NZ permanent residency, or a valid New Zealand work permit.
