Bakery Assistant – Cake Production &
Customer Service
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Bakery Assistant to
join our team, focusing primarily on the cake production side of the bakery.
This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, can follow
recipes accurately, and enjoys both hands‑on production tasks and interacting
with customers.
About the Role
This position involves a mix of cake
production and customer service responsibilities. Key duties include:
- Assisting customers with enquiries
and serving them in a friendly, professional manner
- Cake production and preparing
products to meet daily targets
- Packing, presenting, and
merchandising products to ensure correct pricing, availability, and
attractive displays
- Keep the bakery area clean, safe
and well presented
- Helping the department meet and
maintain high Food Safety Standards
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Commitment to excellence, strong

- High presentation standards,

- Experience in cake making
(preferred)
- Ability to work well under
pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical fitness and confidence
with heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail and the
ability to follow instructions and recipes
- Flexibility, reliability, and the
ability to work effectively as part of a team
Hours and days
Sunday – Thursday 10am – 6.30pm
