Bakery Assistant - Full Time

At PAK'nSAVE Hastings, we pride ourselves on delivering the best customer service in the Bay. With this mission, we must employ the best people in the Bay. Our Fresh Food section of the Store, predominantly the Service Deli, Seafood and Bakery department(s) is after outstanding individuals to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The days and hours for this position are: 

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday - 11:00am - 7:30pm (32 Hours per week)
  

The role:

• Work across multiple sub departments within the wider Fresh Foods team, Bakery, Deli & Seafood.
• Packaging and pricing baked bread rolls, croissants, loaves, biscuits etc.
• Cooking chickens and presenting them to customers.
• Prepping ready to go meals such as pizzas and hot dog packs.
• Merchandising/filling the fresh food displays.

• Ability to work alone and independently as well as in a team environment all whilst remaining productive!
• Possess problem solving skills
• Eye for detail and pride in stock presentation
• A great working attitude
• Absolute reliability 
• Understanding and ability to follow strict food safety protocols.
