Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to be the first point of contact for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to help others. This role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product and service information with professionalism and efficiency.

Hours are:

Friday & Saturday

5:30am-2pm

Key responsibilities are:

• Assist with the preparation, packing, and presentation of fresh bakery products.
  
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers with their bakery needs.
• Drive a truck to transport bakery stock between locations (must hold a valid license).
• Perform regular date checks and rotate stock to ensure product freshness and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the bakery department.
• Support the team with general tasks and contribute to a positive team environment.

   

What we’re looking for:

• A team player with a great attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Full driver’s license required.
• Previous bakery or retail experience is an advantage, but not essential – training will be provided.
