Bakery Assistant – Join Our Bakery Team!

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for fresh food and great customer service? We're looking for a Bakery Assistant to join our Bakery team at PAK'nSAVE Hawera.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Previous bakery experience is an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with the preparation and finishing of bakery products.

   

   

• Packing, labelling and merchandising fresh bakery items.

   

   

• Keeping displays well stocked, clean and attractive.

   

   

• Providing excellent customer service.

   

   

• Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.

   

   

• Helping to keep the bakery clean, organised and running smoothly.

• A passion for food and delivering quality products.

   

   

• Great attention to detail.

   

   

• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to work.

   

   

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.

   

   

• Physically fit and able to work in a busy environment.

   

   

• Previous bakery or food retail experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
