We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Bakery Department as a Bakery Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a passion for food, enjoys working in a team environment, and is interested in building a career in baking.

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to progress into a Bakery Apprenticeship and gain formal industry qualifications while learning from our experienced bakery team.

Hours: Wednesday -Saturday 05:00-14:30

About the Role:

• Assist with the preparation, packing, and finishing of a variety of breads and other bakery products.
• Support the bakery team with daily production and presentation of products.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene within the bakery department.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service, assisting customers with their bakery needs.
• Help ensure bakery displays are well stocked, attractive, and meet New World Gate Pa's high standards.

What We're Looking For:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Passion for baking and food preparation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
• Previous experience in food production or hospitality would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays and bakery products as required.
