Do you take pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming? We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Bakery Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. In this important role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our bakery area, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and customers alike. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene will help us uphold the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and sanitising all bakery surfaces, equipment, and tools.
• Sweeping and mopping bakery floors regularly to maintain a tidy workspace.
• Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste safely and efficiently.
• Restocking and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed
• Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe bakery environment.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner when interacting with staff and customers.
• Performing manual handling tasks, including moving equipment and supplies (up to 15kg) as required.
• Assisting with customer service as required and any other Bakery requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong work ethic and reliability
• An eye for detail and high cleaning standards
• Comfortable with repetitive cleaning tasks and lifting
• Able to work in various bakery and store environments, including around ovens and chillers
• Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Follow store procedures and Health & Safety/ Food safety requirements
• Excellent customer service

Shifts & Availability

This is a part-time position, working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, totalling 20 hours per week.
