Bakery/Deli Assistant 

We are looking for a superstar to join our awesome bakery/deli department! The right person will need to be an enthusiastic team player keen on all things bakery and deli. This is an entry level position for a person who is reliable and has a passion for the art of baking, decorating, packing and preparing food.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be awesome with customers and help them with anything they need.
• Be a quick learner with cakes, icing and creaming
• Be able to follow recipes exactly
• Be able to efficiently package and label varieties of breads and baked goods to store specifications.
• Ensures that the correct product description, date and price is given for all products.
• Regularly makes sure all the shelves and display stands in store are full, well presented and that lay-out follows store standards.
• Understands the importance of rotating products - ensuring short dated product is removed from sale as per store specification.
• To administer thorough clean-up and sanitising procedures.
• Must follow or Health and Safety and Food Control Plan guidelines.

This is a part time role of 15 hours per week that could lead to full time. Days and times will be discussed further at interview.
