Bakery & Deli Manager – New World Whitianga
We’re seeking an experienced, people-focused
Bakery & Deli Manager to lead our busy department at New World Whitianga. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows food retail and loves developing a strong, high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and support the Bakery & Deli team
- Manage ordering, stock levels, and key financial KPIs
- Oversee daily operations across four shifts
- Ensure top standards in food safety, compliance, and presentation
- Deliver outstanding customer service
You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in bakery, deli, FMCG, or supermarket operations
- Strong people skills — able to motivate, build culture, and lift performance
- Confident decision-making, planning, and problem-solving
- Tech-savvy (SAP experience helpful)
- A hands-on, positive approach
