Bakery Manager @ Napier City PAKnSAVE Required

We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a Bakery Manager at PAK'nSAVE Napier City.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a busy fresh foods department, drive innovation, and support a high-performing team.

While a baking qualification is an advantage, we welcome applicants with strong leadership and management experience in any fresh food department. What matters most is your passion for food, people and delivering great results.

We are looking for someone with proven leadership who can confidently manage a team and foster a positive, supportive work culture. Strong food safety knowledge, combined with excellent Health and Safety standards is a must for this role. SAP experience is desirable, and a high level of organisation, communication and problem-solving skills with help ensure success. A positive and engaging attitude with both staff and customers is key, along with a strong work ethic and drive for food innovation and production. 

The Bakery Manager is responsible for overseeing stock control, ensuring departmental sales and financial targets are achieved, and managing planning and execution of promotions, ordering and pricing. You will also be responsible for rostering and managing staff performance, ensuring high product quality, and maintaining a safe, compliant and customer-focused environment.
