New World Stratford is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Bakery Manager to lead our bakery department. This role would suit either:

• An experienced baker or senior baker ready to step into their first management position, or
• A current Bakery Manager looking for an opportunity to make their mark and further develop a successful department

About the Role

As Bakery Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of our bakery department, balancing production excellence, team leadership, commercial performance, and drive innovation.

• You'll have the opportunity to lead and develop a passionate bakery team
• Drive innovation and introduce new products and ideas
• Manage production planning and product availability
• Ensure exceptional standards of quality, freshness, and presentation
• Deliver strong financial results through effective stock, waste, and labour management
• Maintain food safety and health and safety compliance
• Create a department that customers love to shop in

What We're Looking For

• Proven bakery experience within a supermarket, retail, or commercial bakery environment
• A passion for baking, product development, and innovation
• Strong leadership potential or previous management experience
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front
• A customer-first mindset and commitment to excellence
• The ability to inspire, coach, and develop others
