Bookkeeper
Bookkeeper – New World Waihi
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our awesome team at New World Waihi.
Location – 35 Kenny Street Waihi
Job Type - Full Time
Duration- Permanent
Minimum guaranteed hours – 40 hours per week
Salary - $34 - $35/hour
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration, including, maintaining and balancing accounts.
- Generating and sending invoices and purchase orders.
- Deposit daily cash receipts in the bank.
- Chasing outstanding payments and outstanding credit lines extended.
- Bank reconciliation and accounts management using SAP and monthly bank statements.
- Entering and maintaining financial and customer data in SAP.
- Submit monthly financial reports and statements along with analyses of the reports to assist the owner to determine the health of the business and reporting any irregularities.
- Prepare necessary reports to determine tax entitlement and GST payable.
- General accounts support and admin tasks as needed.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- Solid bookkeeping and accounts knowledge.
- Experience following up on overdue accounts.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicator with a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time.
- Contribute positively to the team.
- Ability to work on weekends.
