Bread Baker - Part or Full Time

New World Churton Park is looking for an experienced Bread Baker to join our growing in store bakery team.

This role can be structured as either full time or part time for the right person. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing great quality bread, works well in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

The role includes

• Preparing, proving and baking a wide range of breads

• Maintaining consistently high standards of quality and presentation
• Planning production to ensure strong availability and minimise waste
• Following food safety and health and safety requirements
• Keeping the bakery clean, organised and ready for trade
• Supporting the wider bakery team when required

What we are looking for

• Bread baking experience, preferably within a supermarket or commercial bakery

• A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Reliability and the ability to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork
• Flexibility to work early mornings and at least one weekend day
• A recognised baking qualification would be an advantage, but practical experience is most important
