Bread Baker

We are looking for an experienced Bread Baker to join our Bakery team at New World Churton Park.

This is an immediate start role for someone who is confident working on the bread side of bakery production, can manage daily bake requirements, and takes pride in quality, consistency, and presentation.

Supermarket bakery experience is preferred.

 

About the role

You will be responsible for:

• Producing bread, rolls, buns, and related bakery products to a high standard
• Mixing, scaling, moulding, proving, baking, and finishing bread products
• Managing daily bread production so key lines are available and fresh
• Following production plans, recipes, food safety standards, and cleaning routines
• Keeping bread displays full, fresh, well presented, and correctly rotated
• Monitoring quality, bake consistency, waste, and availability throughout the day
• Working with the Fresh Foods Manager and wider team to support a strong bakery offer

 

We are looking for someone who has:

* Proven bread baking experience
* Strong practical skills across bread production
* Supermarket bakery experience preferred
* Confidence working with doughs, proving, ovens, and production deadlines
* High standards for quality, consistency, presentation, and food safety
* Reliability, punctuality, and comfort with early starts
* Ability to work at pace in a busy production environment
* A team first attitude and good communication

This role would suit an experienced bread baker who can step in quickly, keep core bread lines available, and help deliver fresh, consistent product for our customers every day.
