Position: Butcher

Location: New World Carterton

Employment Type: Full-time, including one weekend shift and early mornings

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Butchery department
• Ensure a wide range and ample supply of high-quality fresh meat is consistently available for sale at the correct price
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and attractive presentation of the department
• Perform all aspects of the butchery department, including packing and cleaning
• Uphold Health and Safety policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Butcher, or someone nearing the end of their apprenticeship
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing Health and Safety
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Passion for excellence and teamwork
• Familiarity with Food Safety Programs
• Previous experience in a similarly fast-paced environment is advantageous
