The Job
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, skilled and dedicated full time (38 hours contracted) qualified Butcher to join our dynamic team. This role reports to our Butchery/Seafood Manager and is responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the department ensuring that maximum product range is on offer and sufficient quantity of high-quality fresh meat is available for sale.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for meat preparation and a strong understanding of butchering techniques. As a butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat while ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards. we would expect you to have a minimum of 4 years' experience working in a butchery environment. Ideally we would prefer supermarket experience
We are flexible about days and hours and happy to get the roster to 4 days for someone looking for lifestyle balance.
Candidates must have either New Zealand Permanent Residency or hold a valid New Zealand Work Visa.
