Butcher

About the role:

You will assist in the day-to-day running of our butchery department, ensuring that maximum range, and sufficient quantity of high-quality fresh meat is always available, as well as keeping the department clean, tidy, and attractively presented.

• Cutting, trimming, packing and merchandising meat to a high standard.
• Providing exceptional levels of customer service.
• Enhancing the image of the department by implementation of agreed standards of display and presentation of stock.
• Follow Health and Safety Policy, Food Safety Policy, and compliance procedures in the store, including cleaning.

• Proven butchery experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.
• Passion for butchery and fresh foods.
• Willingness to learn and grow your butchery career.
