Butcher


We are looking for skilled Butchers with over two years experience to provide high-quality meats and services to our clients' customers.

Butcher Responsibilities:

Cutting, mincing, grinding and preparing meats for sale by removing bones and trimming.

Preparing crumbed cuts of meat, marinating, seasoning cured special cuts.

Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive.

Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.

Operate meat and small goods machines and manage the processes in the production of smallgoods.

Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.

Adhering to food safety and health and safety best practices.

Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice and answering questions.

Butcher Requirements:

2 Years education or food preparation or meat cutting experience.

Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extending periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.

Knowledge of meat preparation techniques, smallgoods and cuts.

Strong communication, task management, and customer service skills.

Working 6 days including a double weekend and available to work alternative shifts in the morning and evening.

Payrate $27.00
