Butcher
New Plymouth New World is a locally owned supermarket in the Taranaki Region.
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Butcher, who understands all Butchery processes, and the knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements. You must also be able to work well under pressure and have good interpersonal skills, as you will be an integral part of our Butchery team. Knowledge and experience with SAP is an advantage.
The position is 35-40hrs and will encompass one day of the weekend.
Qualitative Factors - preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Have the ability to be a self-starter, initiator and willingness to develop
- Have a high motivation level, a drive to achieve results, and add value to the store and customer needs
- Have to be reliable, honest, and positive.
- Have a professional personal appearance
- Be competent in computer skills and preferably have worked with SAP, as ordering may be required.
- Have the ability to work efficiently, effectively, and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
