Days required:      Tuesday to Saturday

Hours per week:      Minimum 45 hours per week 

Hourly rate:    $30 – 34 per hour. Paid overtime by agreement.

Job Prerequisites: 

• Three years of relevant work experience
• Willing to work flexible hours in the peak season (Easter & Christmas)
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Great communication skills
• Ability to vary start and finish times of shifts to meet the operational needs of the department.
  

Job Description

• Preparing meat for sale by removing bones, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size for display, while minimising wastage
• Selecting and preparing mea to produce small goods
• Operating machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat
• Ensure the meat cases and freezers are appropriately stocked and relevant merchandising standards are maintained
• Advsing customers on the suitability and use of cuts of meat
