About the Role

Working alongside the Butchery Manager, you will:

• Assist with the day-to-day running of the butchery department.
• Prepare and present high-quality meat products.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Help manage ordering, stock control, merchandising, and minimising waste.
• Maintain high food safety, health and safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Support, coach, and develop team members.
• Step up and lead the department when the Manager is away.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a qualified butcher.
• Strong knife skills and product knowledge.
• A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Leadership potential and a willingness to learn.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Reliability, initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure.
