We have exciting opportunities for great team players with excellent customer service and high attention to details to join our Butchery Team on a Permanent Full-Time basis as Butcher!

About the Role: 

Support the Butchery Manager and Butchery 2IC in operating our successful department, providing excellent work ethics and customer focus at low prices. You will be part of a friendly team that ensures their department represents and delivers the PAK'N SAVE brand promise in terms of presentation, quality, and price.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently break down bones and cut meat to minimize waste and maximise GP / CTP.
• Assist in tray preparation and maintain proper stock levels in meat cases and freezers.
• Conduct weekly or fortnightly stocktakes and ensure merchandising standards are upheld.
• Fulfil customer special orders within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain department image through quality display and presentation.
• Uphold cleanliness standards and complete necessary cleaning and stocktaking tasks.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in accordance with policies, escalating as needed.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and Food Safety policies.
• Complete the traceability forms as required.

About the Applicant:

• Previous experience of working as a butcher in a busy environment, such as supermarkets at least 2 years.

• Have understating of Food Safety requirements.
• The commitment expected of a great team player. 
• Good attention to detail. 
• Customer focus; be able to meet and exceed customer expectations; and 
• Co-operative spirit; be able to adhere to the store’s values.

DAYS AND HOURS:

   Friday – Tuesday: 5.30am – 3.00pm

   Thursday – Monday: 5.30am – 3.00pm
