Butchery 2IC - NW Stonefields

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Butchery 2IC to join our team at New World Stonefields. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside our Butchery Manager to deliver an outstanding department, create exciting new products, and help develop the next generation of butchers.

What you'll be doing

• Cutting, trimming and preparing a wide range of quality meat products.Working alongside the Butchery Manager to help lead the day-to-day running of the department.
• Coaching and developing our apprentice and junior butchers.
• Creating and introducing new value-added products to keep our offering fresh and exciting.
• Adding value to our meat bar, ensuring it's full, fresh and visually appealing every day.
• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and helping customers choose the right products.
• Maintaining high food safety, hygiene and presentation standards.
• Using SAP to assist with stock control, ordering and department processes.
• Working with the team to ensure the department is well presented, fully stocked and ready for trade.

What we're looking for

• A qualified or highly experienced butcher.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience using SAP.
• A passion for innovation and creating new products.
• Someone who enjoys mentoring and coaching others.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Hours

5:00am – 1:30pm
