The successful candidate will have a positive and energetic approach, hands on with a commitment to getting the job done.

You would be responsible supporting the Butchery manager in running the day to day of the department. This includes everything but not limited to cutting, packing, filling, cleaning, placing and receiving orders.

As Butchery 2IC, You Will:

• Be responsible of the Butchery department whilst the Manager is not there, including purchasing, pricing, rostering, food safety/Health Safety and stock management.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation, ensuring all products are fresh and visually appealing.
• Engage with customers to understand and fulfill their needs.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure all products are correctly trayed, wrapped, and labeled in compliance with food safety standards.
• Lead, inspire, and support the small team we have.
• Drive department growth through effective commercial strategies and innovation.

 Days and hours of work (42 Hours)

             * Tue: 06.00am till 2.30pm

     * Wed: 06.00am till 2.30pm

     * Thu: 06.00am till 2.30pm 

     * Fri:   05.00am till 2.30pm

     * Sat:   05.00am till 2.30pm

• A passion for butchery, with a keen eye for quality and presentation.
• Trade certificate in butchery or meat retail
• Strong adherence to Food Safety and Health & Safety protocols.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and a great team player.
• Proven customer service expertise.
