Butchery & Seafood Assistant Manager (2IC) - New World Point Chevalier 

We’re excited to announce that New World Point Chevalier will be joining the community later this year! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across grocery, butchery, deli, bakery, produce and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the Point Chev community. 

With our opening set for early September 2025, we’re currently seeking an experienced Butchery & Seafood Assistant Manager to join the team. As a department leader, you’ll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community. 

 The Role: 

• Assist the Butchery & Seafood Managers to meet department targets and operational delivery standards. 
• Ensure all product meets the highest standards, is fresh and displayed attractively for our customers. 
• Listen to customers to find out what they want and need in one simple shop. 
• Search constantly for areas to improve our butchery operations, productivity, and efficiency. 
• Ensure all meat and seafood is displayed in the case is correctly trayed, wrapped, and labelled. 
• Assist in delivering on commercial outcomes to drive growth in the store

What we’re looking for: 

• You’ll have a passion for butchery & seafood and a good eye for quality and presentation. 
• Be a qualified butcher and/or have a relevant certification. 
• Great people skills and leadership potential. 
• Able to strictly follow our Food Safety and Health and Safety program. 
• Reliable, self-motivated and be a good team player. 
• Proven customer service experience.
