We are currently seeking a Butchery Apprentice to join our team and start a rewarding career in the butchery trade.

About the Role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you’ll learn directly from experienced butchers. You’ll gain practical skills in meat preparation, customer service, and food safety, while working towards a recognised qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cutting, preparing, and packaging meat products
• Learn correct food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area
• Support customer service by answering questions and preparing orders
• Help with stock control, rotation, and product displays
• Follow all health and safety guidelines

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends
