Butchery Assistant - Part Time Fixed term

Pak n Save Taupo requires a Butchery Assistant Fixed term for the summer break till February 2025

A rare opportunity has popped up to join our team of experienced Butchers & learn the trade from the best!

The Role:

Our Butchery Assistants are responsible for ensuring our butchery case looks the business, is full, fresh & appealing for our customers. You'll be responsible for efficiently packing & labelling meat and assisting our customers with their queries. Unloading deliveries and helping in the butchery with whatever the team require.  In time, you'll develop product knowledge through the training we'll provide but you'll need to bring the passion for hard work, service excellence & pride in your work.

To be successful in this position you'll need to be:

• Friendly, approachable and have excellent customer service skills
• A great team player who is willing to go the extra mile for their colleagues
• Physically fit & strong - there'll be some heavy lifting involved & you'll be on your feet all shift
• Hardworking, committed & reliable
• Happy to work in a cold environment
• Flexible to work extra hours if required

Shift 1

Monday , Friday and Saturday 7-4pm

Shift 2

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7-4pm
