Butchery Assistant / Meat Packer

We need reliable Assistants to join our Butchery team. Full training is always provided but we are seeking keen individuals who are driven and willing to learn.

Our successful applicant will be:

• Comfortable handling raw meat
• Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised
• Dedicated to providing great customer service
• Comfortable working in the cold
• Able to do department cleaning

What does a Butchery Assistant / Meat Packer do?

You will be responsible for traying and wrapping a selection of butchery products, refilling the shop front, department cleaning and assisting the butchers as required throughout the day. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a butchery department in action and what happens to get stock on the shelves and if you are considering a Butchery Apprenticeship, this is a great place to start. 

Available shifts:

08:00 - 16:00, we are looking for both full-time and part-time applicants to fill these shifts.
