New World Milford is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Butchery Department as a Part‑Time Butchery Assistant.

 

About the Role

This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced butchery environment, supporting the team with packing, presenting, and merchandising products. You’ll help ensure stock is well presented, correctly priced, and readily available at all times.

 

Reporting to the Department Manager, you’ll be part of a supportive, hardworking team focused on delivering high standards across the department.

 

About You

You will ideally:

 

 

• Be reliable, punctual, and physically fit
• Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Take pride in personal presentation and attention to detail
• Be self‑motivated and able to use initiative
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Be willing to learn in a modern butchery environment
• Have an interest in fresh food and maintaining high standards

Key Details

• Part‑time hours: Sunday & Monday, 6:00am – 1:30pm
• Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand
