Butchery Assistant - Full Time Permanent.

We are looking for a motivated, and customer-focused Butchery Assistant to join our busy supermarket team. About the Role

While previous experience is beneficial, it is not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and presentation of quality meat products while supporting the day-to-day operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring product quality, freshness, and presentation standards are maintained
• Assisting customers with product selection and enquiries
• Following all food safety, health, and hygiene procedures
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas
• Assisting with stock rotation and stock control

Must Have Skills

• Honest, strong work ethic and reliable
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good attention to detail
• Physical fitness to manage the demands of the role
• Flexibility to work early starts and weekends
• Provide excellent customer service

Employment Details

• Full-time permanent role
• Rostered shifts include one weekend day
• Immediate start available
