Butchery Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Butchery Assistant to join our busy Butchery team.

This is a hands-on role that requires someone who enjoys physical work, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable working in a cold environment.

About the Role

As a Butchery Assistant, you will support the department with a variety of daily tasks, including:

• Putting away department inwards goods
• Heavy lifting and handling of stock deliveries
• Assisting with packing and presentation of meat products
• Stock replenishment and rotation
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Supporting the Butchery team with general department duties
• Providing excellent service to our customers when required

• Be physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Have good attention to detail
• Work well within a team environment
• Be committed to food safety and health & safety requirements

The successful applicant must be available to work:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6am - 2.30pm
