Butchery Knife Hand /Assistant

We are looking for a someone that would like to join our Butchery team.

If you are someone that has an interest in butchery, ready to give it a go to see if you can make a career out of it, or if you are someone that already has experience in butchery and wants to take their learning further this could be the role for you!!

The Role:

• Support the butchers in preparing meat, traying up product, and replenishing the store.
• Work towards a further your career in butchery by working with two very experienced Butchers.
• Ensure Food Safety standards are maintained through completion of appropriate cleaning, temp checks and traceability forms. 
• Maintain the highest standards of Quality and presentation, ensuring all products are fresh and visually appealing at all times of the day.
• Engage with customers to understand and fulfill their needs.
• Ensure all products are correctly trayed, wrapped and labelled in accordance with compliance.

• Can follow instructions and enjoy hands on learning.
• Support butchers in preparing, packing and replenishing all meat types (Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Pork and Fish).
• Someone that is prepared to work in refrigerated environment.
• Experience in butchery and knife hand is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication skills

  Days & Hours?

• Monday: 5am till 3pm
• Tuesday: 10am till 6pm
• Friday:    6am till 2.30pm
• Sunday : 8am till 6pm
