Butchery Manager
We’re now looking for a Butchery Manager who is ready to build a high-performing team, shape our store culture, and set the standard for operational excellence from day one. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role where your vision, capability, and influence will directly impact the success of a store's success.
About the Role
Reporting to the Store Management team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the butchery department. You will lead your team from the front, ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer service.
You will also be responsible for managing key commercial aspects of the department including buying, gross profit (GP), and wastage.
This is a hands-on role where you will actively contribute on the floor and undertake butchery tasks as required.
Days of work will be discussed at interview stage; however, the successful candidate must be able to work one weekend day.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ butchery experience at a Butchery 2IC level
- Retail experience, previous department management experience
- Completed a Butchery apprenticeship or Trade Certificate
- Computer literate
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
- SAP Experience Required.
