Are you an experienced Butchery professional who takes pride in delivering top-quality meat products and leading a motivated team?
We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Butchery Manager to join our team at New World Ngaruawahia.

 

About the Role

You will be responsible for the overall operation of the butchery department — maintaining excellent product quality, stock levels, presentation, and food safety standards.
You’ll also lead and support your team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the butchery department

     

     

  • Lead, coach and develop a motivated team

     

     

  • Maintain high standards in product quality, trimming, and presentation

     

     

  • Manage ordering, stock control, and waste minimisation

     

     

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety policies

     

     

  • Drive sales and maintain excellent customer service standards

     

     

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a butchery management or supervisory role

     

     

  • Strong product knowledge and cutting skills

     

     

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

     

     

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

     

     

  • Passion for fresh food and delivering high-quality results
